Ohanaeze Youth Council: Danfulani Will Not Disappoint Nigeria

The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide has issued a statement celebrating President Bola Tinubu’s appointment of Honorable Yazid Shehu Danfulani as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation. The apex Igbo socio-cultural organization described the May 22 appointment, which was conveyed through a letter from Secretary to the Government of the Federation Senator George Akume, as a strategic decision deserving of national recognition.

National President Mazi Okwu Nnabuike characterized the appointment as placing “a round peg in a round hole,” emphasizing that the selection has garnered widespread celebration among Nigerian youth due to Danfulani’s demonstrated competence. The organization expressed confidence that the appointee, referred to as Turakin Zamfara, represents an excellent choice who will not disappoint either the President or the youth constituency.

The Youth Council highlighted their long-term observation of Danfulani’s activities, noting his excellent track record of achievement and dedication to goal attainment. The organization expressed certainty that his leadership will elevate NAIC to new heights and enable the agency to establish a significant presence on the global stage while breaking existing barriers.

In their congratulatory message, the group described the appointment as well-deserved recognition of Danfulani’s hard work, expertise, and commitment to national development. The organization expressed optimism that his tenure will introduce dynamic transformation and intellectual growth to the corporation.

The statement concluded with assurances of comprehensive support from Igbo youth and Nigerian youth generally, while expressing hope that Danfulani will bring innovative ideas to drive the agricultural corporation toward achieving food sufficiency objectives for the country
